Vera Martins Silva graduated from Law School (University of Lisbon) and holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from ISCTE. She is currently a doctoral student in Global Studies PhD at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT scholarship).
She was a lawyer, lecturer and educational director of the law faculty of the Catholic University of Mozambique.
In 1998 she was awarded a scholarship by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) for further academic study and training in Germany.
